The San Benito County Office of Emergency Services on Friday afternoon issued an evacuation for the Lovers Lane area, and a supervisor reported a possible second breach in the area.

A post on the office’s Facebook page reads: “Evacuations taking place in Lovers lane. Avoid the area!”

Additionally, Supervisor Mark Medina contacted the Free Lance on Friday afternoon about a possible second breach in the levee on the San Felipe Road side.

The county office of emergency services and Emergency Services Manager Kevin O’Neill were not immediately available for comment or confirmation of a second levee breach.
