Sexual assault suspect from surveillance video on October 27, 2017

The Hollister Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a sexual assault suspect from an incident that occurred in October 2017.

In late 2017, a victim checked themselves in at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital and reported that they were sexually assaulted in downtown Hollister on an unknown date at an unknown time. Police detectives were assigned to the case and have been working through City of Hollister surveillance camera footage from downtown over a period of several months.

Detectives were able to isolate the date and time of the incident as October 27, 2017 at about 4 a.m. Detectives were able to isolate pertinent footage from the event.

The photographs above have been confirmed as the suspect in the case. The suspect was described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 38-years old and may be from Texas. At the time, the suspect was wearing a Golden State Warriors jersey and a “boonie” style military hat with a short crew-cut style haircut.

The Hollister Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the subject pictured above.
