The Hollister Police Department is seeking information regarding the identity of an armed robbery suspect.
On December 12, 2017 at approximately 12:36 a.m., police officers responded to a call at the Quikstop gas station located at 10 San Felipe Road regarding an armed robbery with a gun. Police arrived and spoke with the clerk, who advised that the suspect entered the store, waited for other customers to leave, pulled up his shirt to brandish a handgun in the waistband and demanded items. The suspect was observed to be white of unknown sex in their 20s, short and medium build, with a red lips tattoo to the left side of the neck and possibly a nose ring. The suspect, who was wearing a grey flannel jacket and jeans, left the gas station with cartons of cigarettes, an undisclosed amount of money and CA Lottery scratchers.
Later that day around 8:22 a.m., some of the stolen scratchers from the robbery were cashed at the 7-11 in Hollister at 915 San Benito Street, by a second suspect, who was seen leaving in a silver, early 2000 model BMW wagon with a black front bumper, moonroof and a blue front dealer plate. The second suspect was observed to be a Hispanic male in his 20s, average height and weight, wearing a dark hat, black hoodie, and black pants.
Then about an hour later, more stolen scratchers from the robbery were cashed at the Quikstop location at 8400 Church Street in Gilroy by the first suspect. Both suspects were seen in the store together. After the scratchers were cashed, they both entered the same vehicle and departed.
