Hollister’s 2005 Renaissance Faire at Casa de Fruta was the most fantastic event I have ever seen. The jousting contest master of ceremonies really knew how to work the crowd to enhance their reactions to the jousting. The outstanding costumes and booths really re-created the feel and appearance of a bygone era. I will do my best to have my friends and relatives back east visit and participate in Hollister’s wonderful event, the Renaissance Faire!
