Dog Days of Hollister was held at Dunne Park on Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It was the second year for the event sponsored by the Hollister Dog Owners group and Gavilan Kennel Club.
The event serves as a chance for dog owners to get together and serves as a fundraiser for the group, which is working with the City of Hollister to establish a fenced-in, off-leash dog park. The event also involved a costume contest and a doggie contest. The costume contest categories were: Best Costume Duo and Most Unique Costume. The doggie contest included: Waggliest Tail, Owner Dog Look-a-like, Best Trick, Best Bark and Ugliest Dog.
