Friends of the San Benito County Free Library and the Women’s Club of Hollister are inviting the community to participate Friday in the annual Champagne Tea and Treasures event from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday at San Juan Oaks Golf Club.
According to an announcement, residents can enjoy the afternoon of elegant tidbits, champagne, tea, coffee, fun, frivolity and shopping at the silent auction. A speaker will present ideas on decorating with some of the treasures from the tea. If you bring a treasure, you will receive a free ticket to the drawing for each item you bring.
Funds from the event will go directly to support San Benito County Free Library’s technology update and community philanthropic efforts by the women’s club, including the group’s high school scholarship fund. See the exhibit case at San Benito County Free Library to get into the tea mood.
