today, according to the US Geological Society.

It occurred at 11:56 a.m. about five miles south-southwest of Tres Pinos, according to the USGS.

The quake had a depth of about two miles and could be felt in downtown Hollister, but there were no damages immediately reported to the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher.
