What in the world is happening to our city and county governments?
The city has been trying to do something with their sewer system for well over two years. I sure hope they do a good job, not just another Band-Aid repair. I know a good job such as a tertiary system will cost big bucks, but in the long run it would save money. The treated water could be used on crops and golf courses. A good sewer system will bring money into the county not take it out because of RUCB fines. Try for two federal grants.
The supervisors in cutting Bobby Scattini’s budget in order to save money, I wonder if the services he gives are generally known.
As a property owner, and one that has rental property, I appreciate the services that Scattini has given me. The volume of knowledge he has collected over the years on the people is a great service and can save the property owner many dollars.
Then, when necessary, he serves papers and gets people moved out fast without going to court.
I’m for cutting taxes and saving money but let us not be penny wise and pound foolish.
