Hollister, is currently deployed in Iraq participating in Operation
Iraqi Freedom.
Army Specialist Adam N. Britton, husband of Kristi Britton of Hollister, is currently deployed in Iraq participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has been a member of the California National Guard for 13 years. He previously served in Operation Noble Eagle from October 2001 to March 2003. For that mission, he was stationed at Ft. Huachuca in Arizona and Ft. Lewis in Washington. In Iraq, he is part of the 185th Infantry which is attached to the 81st Armor Brigade. His unit completed training at Ft. Lewis and Ft. Irwin and then proceeded to the Middle East. He arrived in Iraq in early April and will be deployed for at least the next 12 months.
