After losing the first two games, San Benito (11-15, 7-6 TCAL) bounced back to win the next three games.

“We didn’t have a good blocking game at all,” said coach Henke Mao. “There were lot of good rallies. The first two games we came up flat. We had a lot of hitting errors in the first two games.”

Kyle Fowles led the Balers with 13 kills. Jonathan Crespeu and Tomas Rebecchi had 10 kills, and Peter Prak added seven for the Balers.

Jeff Hawks had one of his best games of the season with 49 assists.
