Bill’s Bullpen in Hollister is one of thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the industry May 2, according to an announcement from the local business.
On the 14th annual Free Comic Book Day, it is estimated that more than two million comic books will be given away by participating stores that include the Hollister comic shop.
Free Comic Book Day kicks off at 10 a.m. May 2 and runs until all free comics are given away at Bill’s Bullpen, 207 Fourth St. Batman and Wonder Woman characters will be making appearances between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
