The Bureau of Land Management lifted fire restrictions in Panoche and other areas, according to the BLM.
According to an announcement on the lifting of restrictions:
Fire restrictions for public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management’s Hollister Field Office  in the Panoche, Tumey and Griswold hills will be rescinded beginning Thursday, Oct. 15.
Recent precipitation and seasonal changes, combined with increased humidity and cooler temperatures, have prompted the lifting of fire restrictions in the area. The fire danger is expected to be low throughout the coming months.
Although the fire restrictions are lifted, the Hollister Field Office fire staff would like to remind the public to continue to be careful with fire.
For further information please contact Michael Chiodini of the Hollister Field Office at (831) 630-5029.
