Local emergency responders recognized for actions
Dozens of first responders were recognized for saving lives in San Benito County this week as part of EMS week, including one citizen hero. The San Benito County Board of supervisors declared May 19-25 as EMS Week with May 22 as EMS Children’s Day.
Man airlifted to Stanford after accident
A man driving a Mercury SUV sustained injuries this morning when he went off the road on Union Highway and collided with a tree. The man was conscious and talking around 10:10 a.m., when he was airlifted to Stanford Medical Center for treatment.
