The San Benito girls basketball team moved into a tie with Seaside for third place in the Monterey Bay League’s Gabilan Division on Tuesday, defeating the Spartans 52-47 in Hollister.
Through 20 games, the San Benito boys basketball team has proven to be the best team in the Monterey Bay League’s Gabilan Division. And in Hollister on Wednesday, the Balers showed exactly why.
For only the second time this year, the San Benito girls basketball team won consecutive league games, as the Balers dominated Salinas on Tuesday 46-25.
Through nearly 20 games, the San Benito boys basketball team has still yet to show any signs of slowing down from its torrid pace. The Balers won again Friday, defeating Monterey 45-42 on the road to move to 17-2 overall.
