Marty: Christmas memories stirred

Memories are complex because they bring back both the happy and the sad. I do not think that a Christmas will go by that I will not think of Army Staff Sgt. David H. Gutierrez, who died in Afghanistan on Christmas Day 2009; here were my thoughts at the time. Well-seasoned cuisine: Holiday baking is complete with a classic gingerbread house

I finished my holiday baking last weekend, just in time to get a package of cookies in the mail to a friend and so that my family members could bring trays in to share with coworkers during the holiday week. We added in molasses spiced cookies, white chocolate cherry cookies, snickerdoodles, and my favorite butterscotch chip cookies to complete the mix.
