Supervisors approved reinstating an assistant county administrative officer July 23, with Ray Espinosa set to fill the position when a new county administrative officer is hired. Espinosa has been serving as interim CAO for 10 months.
San Benito County supervisors have decided to try a new strategy in searching for a candidate to fill a top management position in hopes of saving money during a cash-strapped year.
The San Benito County Board of Supervisors appointed Maria Corona, the deputy director of Child Protective Services, as the interim director of the Health and Human Services Agency. She will take over when Kathy Flores retires on May 7 from the position.
