Hollister students join CA coastal clean up
Local students and their science teachers gathered at the San Benito County River on Saturday to take part in the California Coastal Clean Up.
Community Spotlight: YMCA hosts Healhty Kids Day; Outdoor Club cleans riverbed
The YMCA had more than 500 members of the community join in celebrating Healthy Kids Day April 21. The annual event had more than 44 nonprofits and local businesses participating in the outdoor fair. They raffled off eight sports balls and offered the first day to sign up for summer camp. More spaces are available and those that sign up before May 15 will get a free camp T-shirt.
