Ridgemark Golf & Country Club was officially sold last week, confirmed the club’s president and general manager, Alex Kehriotis.

The county board Tuesday approved a long-term tree ordinance with tweaks to a prior, temporary set of restrictions against cutting mature species.

Alex Rodriguez and Jason Sims called together participants in Tuesday’s youth golf camp, the first of three days in the session at Ridgemark Golf & Country Club. They stood atop a small set of steps leading to the pro shop and quickly gained the campers’ attention with some questions.

With the loss of the Hollister Redevelopment Agency came a $65,000 annual hole for the Hollister Downtown Association. On Sept. 15, at an inaugural fundraiser, the organization hopes to recoup a chunk of the money.
