Coming off a second-place finish in the final season inside the Tri-County Athletic League last year, the San Benito girls tennis squad returned to the court Tuesday, losing to Carmel 6-1.

For the second-consecutive year, the Balers will open their football season against an opponent that is coming off a deep playoff run the year before.
