Hollister City Council members voted unanimously Monday to support the Westside Promise Neighborhood grant application – after three of them previously expressed concerns about the application at a July 2 meeting – which could inject a half-million dollars toward fixing the economically distressed area of the city.
Concerns expressed by San Benito Health Foundation officials – over a similar outside agency staking territory here by partnering on a neighborhood improvement grant application – have ended up raising serious questions about the local organization itself.
The San Benito Health Foundation celebrated Tres Reyes Magos (three kings) day. During the event, children received healthy snacks and participated in such activities as story time.
