The Women’s Club of Hollister held its annual Student Art Show Feb. 13. They received more than 70 entries from students in San Benito County. The contest was open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade who reside in San Benito County or attend school in San Benito County.

Sacred Heart students take on trash duty in river

A small crew of Sacred Heart Parish School students, their parents and two teachers gathered to do a San Benito river bed clean up Saturday. San Benito High School chemistry teacher Mike Carroll, his grandson Riley, Sacred Heart science teacher Jim Ostdick and the other volunteers removed 1,000 pounds of trash from the river bed.

Ashley Adams and her husband Andy have had their arms full for the last five months since Adams delivered quadruplets at a hospital in Colorado. Adams, a 2006 graduate of San Benito High School, known then as Ashley Knutson, carried the identical twins Braelynn and Samantha along with fraternal twins Rylie and Wyatt to 30 weeks.

Winter Dance Concert: San Benito High School will hold its winter dance concert Dec. 6 and 7, with doors to open at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Prices are $5 with an ASB sticker or for children ages 5-12, $6 without ASB sticker, $8 for adults or $10 at the door. Tickets are on sale Wednesday through Friday at the Student Payment Center.
