After playing three games in three days, the Anzar boys soccer team improved to 2-1-1 Wednesday with a 2-1 win over KIPP Collegiate in San Juan Bautista. It was the Hawks second-consecutive win after defeating Pinewood School 3-0 Tuesday.

The Sobrato girls soccer team improved to 2-0 on Wednesday with a 10-0 win over Anzar High in San Juan Bautista. The Hawks now fall to 0-4.

Conference in San Juan to focus on ‘Images of the Virgin’

The Galeria Tonantzin will host the 21st Annual Images of the Virgin Exhibit at 115 Third St. in San Juan Bautista through January 12. There will be a free artists’ reception Dec. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.
