Community blood drive: The Leslie L. Garratt Post 6359 will host a community blood drive Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 58 Monterey Street, in San Juan Bautista. The bloodmobile will be located in the parking lot and blood will be drawn by the staff of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula’s blood center. Conference in San Juan to focus on ‘Images of the Virgin’
The Galeria Tonantzin will host the 21st Annual Images of the Virgin Exhibit at 115 Third St. in San Juan Bautista through January 12. There will be a free artists’ reception Dec. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.
