Alex Smith is absolutely right about one thing. He has been through a lot worse than the 49ers' flirtation with Peyton Manning and his own on-again, off-again, on-again courtship with his franchise.
I hope you all had enjoyed Super Bowl Sunday! It's getting so popular now days, I even heard some grumbling about it becoming a national holiday so everyone could take the following Monday off. I don't know about that, but I do wish they would make it on Saturdays so people could recover from their parties on Sunday! In any case, we had a good day as did many others I'm sure.
For those who are not into football - or whose favorite team just missed the big game by three points as happened for so many 49er fans recently - the only reason to watch the Super Bowl might be for the snacks.
Well, it's about time. We finally had a nice round of showers down here in South County. We couldn't wait on Mother Nature much longer and she finally came through. The grass is already greener down here and folks are in a lot better mood.
