With park status pending, residents can still comment on Pinnacles plan
San Benito County residents and others interested in Pinnacles National Monument’s future have less than a month to comment on a draft general management plan and environmental assessment. The public comment period will close on Jan. 11.

1.) YMCA/Rotary golf tournament: The YMCA and the Hollister Rotary are hosting a golf tournament and dinner Friday at San Juan Oaks Golf Club, 3825 Union Road. The even will support YMCA’s youth development programs and Rotary scholarships for college students. The tournament and dinner is $130. Dinner only is $40. A golf clinic starts at 9:30 a.m., with registration and a book signing with Tom Flores at 10:30 a.m. The shotgun start is noon.
