The promoter of the Hollister Rally for the past two years has departed from the role, and the Hollister Downtown Association is searching for a replacement to potentially put on a 2015 event.
North Carolina-based Worldwide Dynamics and the Hollister Downtown Association this week signed a five-year agreement to partner in overseeing future Independence Day motorcycle rallies.
Hollister officials have estimated that law enforcement would cost $113,400 for a 2013 motorcycle rally – an amount that is less than one-third of the bill for security at the most recent biker event in 2008.
