San Benito resident named VP and manager at Pacific Valley Bank
SALINAS – Pacific Valley Bank, of Salinas, has expanded the cash management department with the addition of Jamie McClanahan as the vice president and cash management manager. McClanahan has 16 years of experience in banking, starting in operations with South Valley Bank in San Juan Bautista. She was most recently the VP, treasury relationship manager at Rabobank in Salinas.
McClanahan’s focus will be to ensure that the bank will be able to provide the broadest possible array of cash management products while providing the highest level of professional service.

Farm finance expo
WATSONVILLE – California FarmLink is holing a Farm Finance Expo at the Corralitos Grange Hall, 165 Little Corral Way, in Watsonville, on March 29, from noon to 5 p.m. The event is meant to assist local farmers in finding financing for their farm operations.
Representatives from local banks and lending institutions, as well as financial professionals will be on hand to describe current lending programs, discuss alternative financing options, hold workshops on financing and financial literacy and answer questions.
Those in attendance include Rabobank, American AgCredit, Santa Cruz County Bank, California Coastal Rural Development, California FarmLink and the USDA Farm Service Agency. The event is co-sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau, the Small Business Development Center of Cabrillo College and the Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County.
