Maybe the heat wave is to blame
– melted phones, perhaps – but the Crusader hasn’t gotten any
calls for the last few days. But we know there are still problems
and concerns out there so let us know what they are at 635-9219 and
we’ll get on the case.
Maybe the heat wave is to blame – melted phones, perhaps – but the Crusader hasn’t gotten any calls for the last few days. But we know there are still problems and concerns out there so let us know what they are at 635-9219 and we’ll get on the case.

Now, since we still have a space to fill here, the Crusader thought this would be a good opportunity to thank all the city and county employees who respond to a caller’s queries. Despite heavy workloads and short staffing across the board, city and county employees and law enforcement personnel always spare a little time for the Crusader and then respond quickly to our questions. So, thank you. We here at the Free Lance appreciate the work you do, and we understand your lack of resources.

So, Red Phone readers, the next time you see a work crew sweating in the street or a local cop covering the beat give them a wave and let them know you care. You might even offer them a cold drink. And, if you’ve got a problem, let us know and we’ll let them know and try to get it solved.
