How come your paper has not reported on the fact the County won
the frivolous public records case that Mr. Baley brought? Is it
because your paper is too embarrassed to admit that Mr. Baley was
full of it after your paper made it sound like the County was
hiding information (which it was not) or are your reporters just
lazy?
It seems if there is any story that does not fit your paper’s
anti-County agenda you won’t cover it.

“In an incident that occurred Jan. 3, the windows to my son’s vehicle were smashed and shattered. My family was asleep. I happened to be up when the banging sound became present, to the sounds I thought were gunshots.

Immediately, I called the police department. As I am on the phone talking to the dispatcher, trying to explain to her what I heard, she wanted to know in detail who or what I saw and so forth. That’s fine and when I was uncertain in relating the information, she got a little loud and rude.

That’s not the end of it. As the police arrived, the inquisition began. My husband and son were questioned and treated as if nothing had happened. In other words, they were brushed off, like, oh, another gang thing or situation. That was the impression they gave.

How does one expect to have respect for the law enforcement when the law enforcement themselves treat us like dirt?”
