Life Skills raises money for iPads
The San Benito High School Life Skill students collected recyclables such as cans and bottles to the program so that they could raise money to purchase an iPad for the classroom. Annie Goularte, a wife of the late Gary Goularte who works in one of the Life Skills classes, agreed to match the funds raised so that the program could purchase two iPads. The purchase of the second iPad was made through the Gary Goularte Life Skills Fund. The mission of the fund is to provide for the purchase of supplies and equipment for the Life Skills program that is beyond the scope of regular funds provided by the district.
