You constantly hear about tempo when it comes to the golf
swing.
What is tempo? Well, that is a good question.
Without sounding like a philosopher, it is when all the body
parts work in rhythm. But to get this to happen with a golf swing
is no easy task.

Without sounding like a philosopher, it is when all the body parts work in rhythm. But to get this to happen with a golf swing is no easy task. I always feel that to achieve this you must feel your upper body and lower body working together.
This will happen when, off the drive, you feel your right side and right knee work through the hitting area the same time as your arms. In other words, they should be traveling side by side and at the same rate.
Stand up and take a practice swing without a club. Make sure that as your right side drives into the hitting area, your arms drive into the hitting area as well. If you get these two body parts working together, instead of fighting each other, you will start hitting longer and straighter shots.
