My son is a senior this year and the dress attire is nothing
new. I have seen girls wear shirts that look like a bra and this
has been going on for the past four years that I have been dropping
off my son. I had hopes that the new principal might make some
changes until I read your article. I suppose she will only start
pointing her fingers and placing blame rather than standing up to
the problems.
Dear Editor,

My son is a senior this year and the dress attire is nothing new. I have seen girls wear shirts that look like a bra and this has been going on for the past four years that I have been dropping off my son. I had hopes that the new principal might make some changes until I read your article. I suppose she will only start pointing her fingers and placing blame rather than standing up to the problems.

Parents and teachers would have to work together in order to resolve the issues our schools face. My experience in the four years that my son has attended SBHS has been the opposite. I can fully understand why parents step back when the teachers write or talk to the parents as if they are lecturing a child. I have saved an e-mail sent to me by my son’s math teacher which clearly let me know that she was annoyed by my attempt to receive her side of the story regarding students homework policies.
