I just saw something that absolutely blew my mind. I don’t think
that there are too many people who haven’t seen, either in person
or on TV, the Blue Angels precision flying team of the U.S. Navy.
If these guys make a mistake they will be dead, so what do you
think they do before the take off? First a little information about
how they work.

The leader of the group calls all the moves they make, just like the conductor of an orchestra. If he wants them to bank left he will say ” On three a half turn to the left and good ” when completed. The thing I saw that was so amazing was what they did before their mission. They all went into a room. Then they sat around a table closed their eyes and went through their entire routine. As the leader made the calls the team, who were all pretending to be holding the sticks of their plane moved their hands as if they actually flying the planes. They were flying their entire routine in their heads.
We have all heard how every tour player will visualize their shots. Don’t think for a minute that the night before a tournament Tiger Woods doesn’t play his entire round in his head. Just like the Blue Angles do. It is something anyone of us can do. It doesn’t have to be for a tournament it can just be a casual round of golf. The night before play the round and make a par on every hole. Don’t get greedy and set the course record be realistic. If you make a mistake during your round, just tell yourself, “I glad I’m not a blue Angel.”
