Isabel Mena, Katie Weber and Katie Van Horn were chosen to attend the American Association of University Women Marie Curie Science Camp earlier this month.

Three rising science stars recently attended the week-long American Association of University Women Marie Curie Science Camp held at Stanford University.
Isabel Mena from Ascencion Solorsano Middle School, Katie Van Horn from Brownell and Katie Weber from South Valley, were nominated by their science teachers, interviewed and selected by members of the AAUW based on each of their qualifications. This is only the third time in 10 years that each middle school had a representative at science camp.
