The Anzar Hawks softball team improved to 2-1 in the Coastal Athletic League when it routed host Calvary Christian 20-8 Tuesday in Pacific Grove.
Nicole Mello and Gabriela Medina each connected on home runs in the first inning, each driving in four RBI apiece.
Anzar’s Kim Naranjo added three hits on the day, while Erin Deleissegues had two.
