Several local high school basketball players have been invited to play in the Salinas Steinbeck Rotary Club Sixth Annual North-South High School All-Star Basketball Classic games for the North teams Friday at the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County in Salinas.
Christopher’s Wyatt Rocheleau, Gilroy’s David Gonzalez and San Benito’s Jacob Tonascia and Michael Breen were selected to play in the boys game, which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Christopher’s Hanna Tabron and San Benito’s Elizabeth Reikowski and Ellie Burley were chosen to play in the girls game, which is set to tip off at 6 p.m. Friday.
Proceeds from the game will go to the Boys & Girls Club in Salinas, and the Sunrise House, a youth and family counseling and crisis center in Salinas.
