The annual Kids in the Park event was held Wednesday at Dunne Park. The event featured 30 interactive booths with information about children’s safety and health issues. Characters on hand included Smokey Bear, Ciggy Butts and McGruff the Crime Dog. Local law enforcement personnel also attended the event, which was sponsored in part by the Hollister Youth Alliance and the Community Food Bank.
