Frustrated by Leal debate
Dear Editor,
We were taken aback when we saw a ‘For Sale’ sign at Leal Vineyards. We have heard rumors and then read the recent Pinnacle article regarding the issues, mainly with noise, posted by a neighbor, Mr. Lee. We must say that living in the county we know to abide to the 10 p.m. weekday rule and 11 p.m. weekend rule regarding parties and noise in our neighborhoods. This is not always observed but in general it has been, and we all put up with it! Mr. Lee has to understand that these restrictive hours apply to everyone who lives in the county. We have to be flexible and not vindictive! For him to complain at this juncture is ludicrous as Leal Vineyards has been an operational entity for quite some time at their location. It is a business in the county that brings in both needed revenue and recognition for our area in the wine industry. It would be a travesty to lose this business. It provides a venue that is a huge asset to our county. You as supervisors need to foster new business not drive business away! You need to band together on this one!

Who’s worse? Leal or supes?
Dear Editor,
I don’t know which is more disgusting – Frank Leal’s attitude that he his above the law, or the local officials who have ignored his numerous violations for years now. I demand that the Leal facility be shut down. It is a public nuisance.
