A stop sign is needed at Westside Boulevard and Fourth Street

Dear Editor,

What is needed to have a stop sign put up on the intersection of Westside Boulevard and Central Avenue. Their are near-miss car accidents on a daily basis. There are school children that cross that intersection, and I am afraid one or more will be struck by cars that speed through trying to catch a stalled green light at Fourth and Westside. I live a couple of houses down from the intersection and I am a witness to what I have written … again, we need a stop sign at Westside Boulevard and Central Avenue before their is a fatality.
