The accident occurred in the 800 block of San Benito Street around 1:45 p.m. The male, 21, of Hollister, was treated and stabilized at the scene by emergency responders before being transported by ambulance and then airlifted to a Bay Area hospital, said Hollister police Capt. David Westrick.
