On Saturday, a group of residents connected to the Hollister Community Watch Facebook page held their first community clean-up event, according to a statement from the Hollister Police Department.
Approximately 70 people helped clean several locations throughout the City of Hollister, according to the HPD, while each location was selected after community members submitted suggestions through the Facebook page. The group’s goal was to clean at least one location in each city council district.
Locations targeted for the event included:
Valley View Park, Calaveras School, Calaveras Park, R.O. Hardin School, Cerra Vista School, Rancho San Justo School, Enterprise Road and Union Road
