Local children were excited to receive presents through the League of United Latin American Citizens toy drive.

The League of United Latin American Citizens of San Benito County distributed toys to local children in need over the holidays.
This year, the LULAC’ Youth Council wrapped and distributed more than 500 toys to local children in need. LULAC first held the drive in 1997 when members decided to help local kids in need, primarily through networking with migrant education instructors and seeking donations from the South Santa Clara County Fire District Station in Morgan Hill, according to an announcement from the organization.
LULAC also thanked Union Bank of San Benito and their customers as they have provided, for the past eight years, toy donations as part of their holiday tree ornament sponsorship.
