Sometimes being a mom doesn’t mean you are related by blood. It doesn’t mean I got to hear your heart beat from the inside, it doesn’t mean you carried me for nine months.
Being a mom is about love, unconditional love felt deep on the inside and carried with you always. You welcomed all of us with open arms, you’ve been our rock, our confidant, our mom when we didn’t have anyone else. You are an amazing and inspirational woman to not only your own four kids, but to your two bonus kids.
Words can never express how much you truly mean to us, but you’ve shown us a mother’s love and you’ve taught us to be better parents. So here’s to you mom, you’re a true gem with a huge heart, and we don’t know where we’d be without you.
Happy Mother’s Day, Michele Clonts, aka Mom.
Jen Mosher
