A motor home was totaled in a Friday night fire outside of Hollister, but the primary residence on the property was spared of any damage.
The fire was reported at about 7:30 p.m. to a motor home off Tevis Trail near Fairview and Spring Grove roads northeast of Hollister, according to San Benito County Capt. Brice Muenzer. There were no injuries from the fire, he said.
The motor home was about three feet from the primary residence on the property, which did not sustain damage, he said.
The captain said the fire’s cause was still under investigation and that no one was inside when the blaze started.
Crews from the county’s Calfire unit and another Calfire unit were on scene.
