Divers from the Santa Clara County dive team search the Ogier Avenue percolation ponds in north Morgan Hill for evidence related to the search for Sierra LaMar. 

Santa Clara County Sheriff’s investigators said there is new evidence in the case of missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar. 

Although they will not reveal specific information on what the items are, the County Crime Lab is in the process of reviewing the results. 

Today, the Sheriff’s office dive team is continuing the expanded search at the percolation pond behind the Parkway Lakes RV park in north Morgan Hill, near Ogier Avenue and Monterey Road. They will also be conducing an expanded search of reservoirs and other small bodies of water in southern Santa Clara County. They will use side scan sonar before sending in divers to investigate areas of interest. 

The sheriff’s office has in searched underwater at Chesbro and Uvas reservoirs but did not report finding anything with a connection the case. Police continue to investigate the more than 1,400 tips they have received my email and phone calls.
