Gavilan College to increase fees again
It’s bad news and worse news for Community Colleges and K-12 districts – the latter faring much better than anticipated – after Gov. Jerry Brown announced Tuesday he’s slashing $328 million from elementary and secondary schools.

California Indian Market: The 29th annual California Indian Market in San Juan Bautista is set for May 4 and May 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. The market, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and to honor troops and veterans, will take place at the San Juan School soccer lot at The Alameda and Highway 156. Featured themes include "Native American, Western, wildlife arts and crafts vendors, drums, dancers and food," according to a market announcement.
