The flyover was another major construction project on Highway 152.

The intersection at Highways 152 and 156 is set for closure 9 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. the following day for paving and other work where crews have finished the flyover and continue finishing touches on the $34 million construction project.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority announced the closure to pave, stripe and shift “k-rail” for the new lane configuration there, according to a press statement from VTA.

The nighttime closures will take place on eastbound Highway 152 and Highway 156, according to the statement.

Highway 152 traffic can gain access to eastbound Highway 152 or westbound Highway 156 by detouring onto San Felipe Road to Fairview Road. Eastbound Highway 156 traffic gaining access to eastbound Highway 152 or westbound Highway 152 can detour onto Fairview Road to San Felipe Road, the statement reads.
