Julio Rodriguez has returned to school to earn a degree in urban planning, something he knows will serve him well should he get elected to the Hollister City Council District 4 seat.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Clearly, developers have learned that they can fool us as many times as they would like by repeating the same lies and spending big money on elected officials that will help them get what they want.
A local developer is one step closer to building the Hollister Research Campus on the north side of town. The project is proposed as a 229-acre industrial and commercial campus with an automotive testing track, two hotels, restaurants, a gas station/convenience store, a public events center and zero housing.
“I’m not looking to do this to become a politician,” Fernandez said. “If I win, that’ll be great. I will do the best that I can for the city and for its citizens.”
