Class of ’81 celebrates 30 years
The San Benito High School Class of 1981 celebrated at its 30th
class reunion Aug. 13 at the Hollister Elk’s Lodge.
To commemorate the event, San Benito County Supervisor Jaime De
La Cruz presented the classmates with a proclamation naming the day
as

30 Year Reunion Day.
”
The proclamation recognized the contributions made to the
community by members of the class of 1981.
”
The members of this class have been outstanding examples of
community minded citizens who have served as important role models
to the young men and women in their communities,
”
according to the county document.

Local graduates from Seattle Pacific University
Catherine Anne Dominguez, of Hollister, graduated with a bachelor of arts in English, with a literature emphasis, from Seattle Pacific University, in Seattle. The university, founded in 1891, is the premiere Christian university that aims to equip its students to engage the culture and change the world.
It has more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled.
