Herrera completes basic training
Manuel Jacob Herrera graduated from basic training in Fort Knox,
Kentucky on Aug. 21, 2009. Manuel is now stationed at Fort
Leonardwood, Mo,, where he will complete training as a heavy
equipment operator. Manuel is the son of Manuel and Yolanda Herrera
of Hollister.

Valderrama completes naval training
Herman Valderrama III completed navel training in Great Lakes, Ill., over Memorial Day weekend and has been stationed as a navy ordinance man in Lemore.
Valderrama III is the son of Herman Valderrama, of Hollister, and Lilia Valderrama, of Hollister. He is the grandson of Herman and Margie Valderrama, of Hollister and brother to Delilah and Adrian Valderrama, also of Hollister. His family extends congratulations to him.
